Ella, elle l'a, Ce je n'sais quoi (France Gall, 1987, Babacar album)

48 little goodie bags

Voilà, here's the picture I wanted to share with you guys. Wanted Ella & her mother to be the first to see them before anyone else did ! Must say my friend Tinne was very very pleased ! She absolutely loved 'em !! Now I can but hope she gets loads of questions like ; where did you find those ? Who made them ... (fingers crossed)

Candy, Candy, Candy I can't let you go (Iggy Pop with Kate Pierson)

My first try out last night. Tried to make candy pop(sicle) cupcakes. They look very smart and delicious ; now I can but only hope they taste good. I have some try out bunnies to try them so I will let you know what their verdict was. Will keep up this cookery skill till I've mastered it to perfection !

white chocolate, lightblue sugary pearls to give them the lush effect

Baby, baby, sugar me (Lynsey de Paul, 1972)

Crystallised ginger by Waitrose - Zara Home plate - Vintage pussycat
I glued the cat on the plate with some extra strong china glue. Doesn't this look fantastic ? A cheap (bought the plate on sale) and unique (vintage cat) way to amaze someone you love and like to share your best sweets with !

I really love ginger. In any form. I can drink it hot or cold, mixed in a lemonade. Just love to eat it with sushi - or use it in a dessert like crème brulée or milk.
You can cut these crystallised ones up in tiny pieces to mix in a fruit salad.
Or give them together with some dark chocolat when your gossip girlfriend comes over for a coffee.
The ones I like best are the ones I found at Waitrose (in Cyprus haha !) but I bet any self respecting candy shop offers them too in their candy and sweets collection.
What's your best ginger recipe ?

Look at the stars, look how they shine for you (Yellow, Coldplay)

this is my son, Sebastian. He's 7 and poses for me sometimes (I must admit I have to bribe him)  He's wearing a shirt from my own handmade collection ...

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it (Pointer Sisters)

on the left you can see one of many colors I used for the collars. Henny presented it in yet another fabulous way ! Look at those sweets hidden under each bowl !
Tomorrow holiday is officially over for me (though I nver stopped working in my head) and to get things started, Yanni my seamstress, is bringing the first prototype dress over to my shop ! jihaa !
Can't wait to see it for real in the fabric I found for this dress, the small details we decided to adjust and all I need to do now is find superspecial buttons to finish it to it's last detail.
Already thinking about how we are going to show it, I need to contact Ake, the new photographer I want to work with for this season. Maybe she knows a girl who could model it. Could be her own daughter, or maybe someone we know from our mutual workshop classes. It needs to be a 3 to 4 year old girl, depending on how the dresssize will fit. Can't tell until tomorrow.

{OoO}

Henny has also done a great job already in displaying these collars I made for Fall.
She uses her own 'vitrines' to show off new stuff she finds or things I make for her and her
styling jobs for magazines.
Too beautiful she said about the first collars I brought her along and when I was abroad she secretly sold 1 to an admiring fan of her vitrines.
She's the best !
